how to charge vehicle battery at home?


if you storge the battery more than 4 month ,and have not installed it to work ,normally you should test its voltage .as its discharge ,the voltage will going down than fully charged .

If the battery voltage below 12.5v  ,you need charge it .let us explain how to charge car battery at home  with slowly charging way ,it will be safe and good for the battery .there is slow charging way ,not the fast charging way .the slow charging way is better for the battery .

firstly ,you need have a charger .

secondly ,after  you tested the voltage ,if the voltage is around 12.4~12.49V, you need use 0.1*C current to charge the battery about  8~10hr.eg, 80ah battery ,C is 80ah ,so you need use 8A current to charge the battery about 8~10hrs.

if the voltage around 12.3~12.39V, you use 0.1*C current to charge about  10~12hrs.

if the voltage around 12.1~12.3V ,you should use 0.1C current to charge the battery about 12~15hrs .

In order to make sure the battery be fully charged ,pls make sure use the stable current to charge the battery .Some times during the charge ,some charger will keep stable voltage to charge ,then it will not fully charged the battery .
